Whitney Rhodes

“So exactly how high is 22,000 feet? How many steps? …Don’t look at me like that.”

— ME

I booked the Tanzania trip for the end of this year. With persistence and luck I’ll spend Christmas Eve summiting Mt. Meru (14,977’) and New Year’s at the top of the tallest mountain in Africa, Kilimanjaro, at 19,441 feet. A few months later I’ll pick up some alpine climbing skills on Mt. Rainier (14,411') for my next two attempts at some serious altitude — the tallest peaks in South and North America — Aconcagua (22,841’) and Denali (20,308’).

When I’m not consulting or creating content, I’m hiking. And playing with my dogs, but mostly hiking.

Stay tuned for links to where you can follow my journey!
